pinspiration

The Just a Card campaign has inspired me to send more snail mail. Not just birthday cards but letters, “just because” notes and mini parcels. As I result of sending more mail, I am obsessively looking for fun snail mail ideas on Pinterest!

Kelly Rowe has also written an article with tips for writing more mail. The article is a guide to help get you started with sending once you have a penpal. It also includes a list of supplies and tips for help get you organised. I also adore her personalised notepaper and I’m looking to order some for myself.

Creative Mail
It is amazing to see what this woman had managed to post. And yes she did post the bottle of school supplies. Other interesting things she has posted include a sponge, flip-flops and a bucket & spade! By taking advantage of the US Postal Services under 13oz rule. She (and her children) send extremely interesting, fun snail mail for the price of a first class parcel! Unfortunately, the Royal Mail isn’t as cool with their rules as parcels. Over here they take into account the dimensions of the parcel as well as the weight, so when cannot join in on the fun.
