Currently… February Edition

Currently Series

In February, I have been working on re-designing my blog. I am tried with the old theme, plus as I have finished my 100 cups of coffee project the coffee logo seems out of place, so it is time for a re-brand. During the week, my free time has been spent on coding. Hence my lack of blog posts. My weekends seem to busy with fun adventures and playing Pokemon Go! As a result, I am extremely far behind on my The Avengers‘ Movie Marathon re-watch. But I am hoping things will change in March.

February 2019

Currently Reading… Umbrella Academy

Before the release of the TV adaption of Umbrella Academy, I thought I would read the first two graphic novels. Whilst I loved the characters in the books. I felt there were a few plot holes and the overall story telling was missing something. I am hoping the Netflix adaption resolves this.

Currently Watching… Game of Thrones
I am still in the middle of my epic Game of Thrones re-watch! And am currently finishing season three. As I mentioned I also started watching Umbrella Academy on Netflix. However, the show I loved the most this month was True Detective. I adored the first season and similarly, the third season has kept me hooked all month.

Currently Listening to… Indie Singalong Playlist (Spotify)

As I mentioned, I am re-designing my blog. Whilst coding and editing images, I like to listen to music rather than watch TV. As a result, I have been listening to crazy playlists in Spotify! This has become one of my favourites as I love signing along!

Currently Loving
    1. Disney X RND Eeyore T-Shirt £9.99 TK Maxx
Comic Relief is next month (15th March), and I have been so impressed with the merchandise this year. Originally, I saw the Mickey and Mickey Red Nose t-shirts online, but in store, I also discovered a cute Eeyore t-shirt and Bambi tote bag.
    2. Captain Marvel Chiffon Top £20 Redbubble
Can you believe we finally, get to see Captain Marvel on the big screen? I wanted to buy something to wear to the midnight screening. And ended up with this cute chiffon top from Redbubble. (and some socks from Primark).
    3. Planner Pin £3 Punky Pins
It is a little basic but I do love collecting pins! They are a great way to show off your fandoms. But also other interests! I have had my eye on this cute pin for a while, but I just discovered it has been reduced to £3! Their Stranger Things pins are also in the flash sale!
    4. Pen Case £2.95 Muji
I am embarrassed to say I don’t have a pencil case. I carry my bullet journal with me everywhere and it has a pen loop to hold one pen. However, if I need extra pens, they sit at the bottom of my bag. I was looking for a little pencil case to carry around. This simple case fits the bill.
    5. Captain Marvel Cross Body Bag £10 shopDisney
It was very hard not to pick five Captain Marvel products for this month. As there is so much amazing merchandise in stores (and online).

Adventure of the Month
The Dior exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum. I was gutted I missed the Dior Exhibit in Paris last year, so when I read about this one closer to home. I rushed to buy tickets. The exhibit did not dissapoint. An amazing celebration of the last 70 years of one of the great fashion houses of the world.
