Currently Reading… Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston
One of my favourite books from last year was Geekerella. So I couldn’t wait to read the next book in the series. Set in the same world as Geekerella, rather than being a sequel. Princess and the Fangirl is twist on “Prince and Pauper” story set during a Comic Convention, for the same movie from Geekerella.

Currently Watching… Game of Thrones
No matter what your opinion of the final season of Game of Thrones was. It is safe to say it occupied a lot of my time this May. For me personally, I didn’t like the ending. But it was more about the journey rather than the destination!

Currently Knitting… ???
Whilst, I am currently not knitting anything. I have been toying with the idea of picking up a new project for the summer. As I have so much yarn and 100’s of items in my Ravelry queue (the knitter’s version of a To Be Read list). I think it is time I start casting on a few of these projects.

Currently Loving
May 2019 Loves
  1. Lonely Dino Pin £6.00
One of my favourite Pokémon was always Cubone. I adore this little orphan backstory. However, after seeing the Detective Pikachu movie at the start of May. My love for this Pokémon grew. So when I saw this pin from  The Nerdsmith Pins on Instagram I had to get it!
  2. Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil £21.50
I am extremely lazy when it comes to my eyebrows, and am always looking for the most basic solution. So this month, when I had my eyebrows shaped I asked the beautician for some advice and she recommended this product and I have to say I am convinced!
  3. Rainbow Pencil Sweets £0.85
Being a vegetarian I have always struggles to find jelly type sweets I could eat. But in recent years, supermarkets have cottoned on to the trend for Veggie and Vegan sweets and are offering a better selection. Of course, we all love Percy Pigs. But these fizzy sweets have quickly become my new favourite treat.
  4. What about Barb Necklace £15.00
I discovered Richardson and Richardson at MCM London early this month and fell in love with their geeky acrylic jewellery! There had so many amazing necklaces from all of my fandoms like Game of Thrones, The Avengers and Stranger Things! One of the standout pieces was this cute ‘What about Barbs’ necklace. I adore the little glasses charm.
  5. Stories for South Asian Supergirls £12.99
This is exactly the sort of book I wish existed when I was a little girl. It contains the biographies of 50 amazing South Asian woman who are or have left a mark in this world. But more importantly, it was written and illustrated by South Asian Women. Passing on our history.

Adventure of the month
I had a few fun adventures in May the Mary Quant exhibition at the V&A museum, afternoon tea at The Berkeley Hotel. But I adore my solo trip to MCM London. It was a completely different experience from previous years and I had so much fun.
