For Mother’s Day at the beginning of March, we had a lovely Sunday Roast in our local pub. The pub put on a special menu so and treated the mothers to prosecco and mini posies of flowers. To add to my mother’s special day, the the pub served her favourite dessert an affogato (hot coffee poured over vanilla gelato).
The following weekend, we arranged to celebrate a belated Mother’s Day with Jason’s mum. Since they moved further away from London, we have started meeting mid-way. Which happens to be Cambridge. After an early start, we jumped on the train, with our coffee to
I love writing
I follow a lot of curated accounts on Instagram. Like @breakfastlondon, and @londoncoffeeshops. On the accounts, I kept noticing the same drink popping up. A Rose Latte from Farm Girl. So I suggested to my sister we pop there for girly brunch on Saturday. When we got there we discovered a long queue of people who obviously all had the same idea! After a short wait we had a lovely brunch and the prettiest coffee I’ve seen.
On the same day, after our brunch, we continued our girly day, with some retail therapy. After walking around Notting Hill and some extensive shopping on Oxford Street, we stopped for a tea time coffee and refuelling. This was the first time I posted two coffees in a day!
