Science Afternoon Tea at the Ampersand Hotel

This is a great example of the themed tea, each of the desserts is perfectly designed around a different scientific field. Notably, jelly served in Petri dishes, drinks in test tubes and a chocolate fossil you have to excavate from chocolate “soil.” As the Ampersand Hotel is a short walk from the Science Museum, it would be a great post museum treat!

K West has renovated the former BBC recording studios in Shepherd’s Bush, into a luxury boutique hotel and spa. To showcase their musical roots, their afternoon tea includes “Rolling Scones.” And their own special tea blend called “Tea Rex.” Instead of plates, they serve the food on classic album covers.
